Rev. Jim Erb - Much loved and greatly missed
The Rev. James Ernest Erb, Cowden Road, New Wilmington, passed away at Orchard Manor Nursing Home, Grove City, on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 13, 2017. He was 83.
But this isn't the story of Jim Erb - husband, father, grandfather, pastor, bishop - and before all else Lover of Jesus Christ. Pastor of Living Word church (now Victory at New Wilmington) from 1975 through 1997, Pastor Jim led many to Christ, taught many more the ways of God, and modeled for all the life of a committed servant of God. He is much loved, greatly missed and always remembered.
All Campus Service - We are one
All 8 Campuses are gathering together HERE on October 1st at 6:00pm for a night of unity and worship. Make plans now to attend and meet some church family members you don’t know yet!
Young Married Couples
We are preparing for September 22nd 6-8pm MARRIED COUPLES NIGHT. We need to know if you will be coming and head count of kids! Text Jasmine with numbers for you and number of kids. My number is 724-301-3559. We will discuss and share nuggets of wisdom concerning "Balancing Work, Kids, and Marriage" as an open forum. I think snacks/desserts would be fabulous! So let me know if you can bring something along that line . . .even fruit.
Please join with all of Victory Christian Center – all 8 campuses – as we focus our prayer on the New Wilmington Campus, Pastors Rob & Mickey Cypher, and all who attend here. What a blessing to have all this prayer support.
September Worship Night
In lieu of our regular 4th Sunday Night Worship Night, we are supporting the All Campus Service the next Sunday, Oct 1. Please joins then, Sunday, Oct. 1 at 6:00pm!
Jeff Trotter is on the mission field in Tel Aviv, Israel now until Sept 20th with others from Heaven’s Family working with prisoners and those in rehab. Please support Jeff and the team with prayers for anointing and safety.
OCC - OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
We’re doing a final push in September, getting ready for our ‘packing party’ in October when we assemble the boxes for shipment. We still need some of the usual items, and in particular: school supplies (pencil sharpeners, children’s scissors, etc.), sunglasses, deodorant (no liquid), small notebooks, toys (we have lots of stuffed animals), balls (tennis ball sized). Please place your contributions in the box in the lobby.
